Melton’s Magpie Craft Group welcomes anyone who would like to come and make lovely stuff and meet friendly folk. Share ideas or just chat away! Bring your craft and your lunch, beginners welcome!

Taster Sessions – Booking essential
Internet taster session
Staff will be able to spend an hour guiding you through an introduction to using the internet or how to set up an email account. FREE.
iPad – staff will guide you through the basics of using your Apple iPad.
£6 for one person or £8 for two people.
Singing Café
For people who have mental health challenges, Memory Loss or Dementia. Come along and enjoy songs, meet new people and have a cup of tea or coffee. Drop in, no need to book.
Every Tuesday 1:00-2:00pm
£3 per person (Voluntary donation)
Accompanying carers need to stay for the Café.
Make Friends With a Book– FREE drop in
A place to relax and enjoy sharing reading. There is no pressure to read or talk, just drop in and sit down as you listen to a good story or poem.

The popular family craft morning for families, every session has a different theme or just get stuck in!

National Poetry Day Poetry
Competition– FREE
The library challenges you to write a poem of no more than 15 lines on the theme of ‘Truth’ Collect entry form from the library. Winner will be shared on social media.
All entries by the 31st October

‘Savoury and Sweet’ – Delicious home made treats to eat in or takeaway, along with a nice cuppa. All proceeds to MacMillan Cancer Support.
